Partnership will enable businesses and organisations within the public sector to gain insights into the potential impact of new and emerging threats, while identifying gaps in cyber defences
Two leading companies have teamed up in a bid to strengthen cyber security. Managed threat detection and response provider e2e-assure, whose customer base is 30% public-sector organisations, has partnered with threat-informed defence platform Validato.

The aim of the collaboration it to enable organisations to strengthen their cyber resilience through gaining insight into the potential impact of new and emerging threats while identifying gaps in their cyber defences. It will help e2e-assure, which already has more than 10 years of experience in protecting the public sector, to test, validate and optimise current security controls effectiveness and detection capabilities integral to sub-sectors such as healthcare, local and central government that store sensitive information and data on citizens.
News of the partnership follows the results of e2e-assure’s recent report Cyber Resilience 2025: Futureproofing AI Adoption, which revealed that 73% cyber risk owners, including 76% in healthcare, think that most cyber attacks come through a lack of employee diligence. A significant 86% in healthcare also say they’ve worked at an organisation that has experienced a cyber attack – up from 77% last year.
The research also found that there is a worrying lack of engagement of training for healthcare sector employees in this area. More than half (52%) of workers said they are only ‘somewhat engaged’ and over a quarter (28%) ‘not engaged’ at all. As the report says, employees are often the first line of defence against cyber criminals, so education and training are integral for public sector staff in mitigating the potential impact of breaches.
Leveraging Validato’s MITRE ATT&CK framework to simulate real-world cyber threats, the new partnership will be able to provide public-sector organisations with full visibility into their current defence capabilities and support staff education in a controlled environment. Public sector decision-makers will also be able to access a clear roadmap to patch vulnerabilities and strengthen their cyber posture.
What e2e-assure calls ‘breach disruption validation’ will also expose vulnerabilities such as misconfiguration and over-privileged users before attackers can exploit them.
