Mobile Cloud services will be staffed through the company following its appointment, supporting departments in their tech transformation.
Acorn by Synergie is now the official supplier for Crown Commercial Services’ (CCS) G-Cloud 14 framework, often compared to a ‘digital marketplace’ for all public sector organisations.
Moving forward, Acorn will be in charge of almost all recruitment tied to the project, including Cloud Hosting, Cloud Software, and Cloud Support services. According to the Government, the goal is to allow public sector teams to explore, transform and deliver critical business solutions. Assistance will be provided from inception to deployment and business-as-usual, effectively offering end-to-end help.
‘We are thrilled to be named a supplier on CCS’s G-Cloud framework. This opportunity enables us to deliver crucial, high-impact solutions for public sector organisations looking to optimise and innovate their cloud infrastructure,’ said Mar Standen, Director of Technology at Acorn by Synergie.
‘Our goal is to help organisations seamlessly integrate and scale cloud solutions to meet their business-critical needs – with Acorn by Synergies agility on the recruitment side, and our cloud expertise it’s the perfect mix,’ said Martin Meikle-Small, Director from Mobile Cloud.
The news comes in the wake of last week’s Downing Street announcement of a new £500million skills drive. This would be used to fund thousands of new advanced degrees in science and technology following Labour’s declaration of economic growth as the primary indicator of success.
