Those taking part can improve their digital capabilities, engage with experts and fellow attendees – and enjoy some local food, too. Participants will gain insights they can put into action. They’ll make new business connections and come away with key insights into how to grow their business.

What’s more, each day being offered will focus on core topic areas. That means participants can pick the sessions most directly relevant to their business and needs, tailoring the experience. They can also choose sessions based on the most convenient location

Grow Digital West Sussex is being delivered by workspace provider Freedom Works, Brighton-based digital marketing agency Creative Bloom and Worthing-based agency Shake It Up Creative, and is jointly funded by West Sussex County Council and by the county’s district and borough councils.

The carefully designed content is based on insights from previous business support programmes run by West Sussex councils, as well as on research into the needs of a range of local businesses.

Cllr Paul Marshall, Leader of West Sussex County Council, says: ‘This initiative is a great example of us working in partnership with our district and borough council colleagues for the good of the county’s economy. We look forward to seeing businesses across West Sussex learning from experts in their field and benefiting from bespoke one-to-one advice.

‘The County Council is committed to the growth of our local economy, and helping our businesses make better use of digital tools is vital to increasing productivity and growth: a sustainable and prosperous economy is one of the priorities in our council plan.’
